Description
Seth F. Weaver,Sr. 08/02/10. This was originally The Gulf Stream By Winslow Homer before I adjusted it to fit the times in the USA. Here we have poor Mr. Obama on a shattered broken boat (the US economy) looking in horror at a near by BP oil rig. If the sharks (Republicans and some Democrats) dont get him the oil will. Ive had this idea for a long time to do this work. I hope it gives you a chuckle or two. A Compullage creation.

This was a work of frustration because our President didn't seem to know what to do with the massive BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

It IS indeed a propos. You have taken the pulse of the political scene and adjusted adequately creating an analogy to Homer's work of art. Great work!
